The bare-face test
Cleanse, pat dry and wait an hour without applying anything. Then observe:
- Oily: shine across the forehead, nose and cheeks.
- Dry: tightness, flaking or rough patches.
- Combination: oily T-zone with normal or dry cheeks.
- Sensitive: redness, stinging or reactivity to products.
